IHX Tubes These tubes are a combination of Suction and Liquid tubes used in the A/C Lines. The hot liquid in the Liquid tube is cooled by the low temperature gas in the Suction tube thereby improving the performance of the A/C system around 10%. There are two types of IHX namely spiral inner tube type and channel outer tube type (with or without spiral). Most of the modern-day vehicles use this IHX tubes to increase the performance and to reduce the tube clutter in the engine compartment.
